ITEC PART TIME BEAUTY DIPLOMA

Our part-time Beautician diplomas provide an excellent opportunity to study at times convenient to your lifestyle. Applicants may choose between daytime, evening or weekend programmes. The part-time diplomas span over 9 – 10 months, combining course work with practical and home studies. All our diploma programmes carry the ITEC award, an international diploma recognised in many countries around the world. The following is a brief outline of the course content:

SKINCARE & EYE TREATMENTS

Facial treatments – cleansing – toning – moisturising – eyebrow and lash enhancements – masks and facial massage.

MAKE-UP

Correct use of cosmetics – make-up application – corrective make-up techniques – make-up selection for special occasions.

MANICURE & PEDICURE

Nail shaping and filing – application of enamels and varnishes – cleansing of nails – manicure of nails – specialised treatments to include hot oil – paraffin wax – hand masks – exfoliation and thermal treatments.

WAXING

Use of hot wax and warm wax – waxing of underarms – bikini line – lower leg – upper leg – lip – chin – forearms and eyebrows.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT & BUSINESS AWARENESS

Professionalism as a therapist - business awareness – marketing – advertising – different types of business – health & safety – legislation.

Our Beautician courses offer the opportunity to train with the Dermalogica skincare range, a global brand used by qualified skincare therapists, and one of the most effetive skincare ranges available.

EXAMS

All modules have 1 hour theory exams comprising of 50 multiple-choice questions. All modules have practical exams. (except for professional conduct and business awareness). FEES

Course fee €2.500 (includes exam fees, student insurance and academy bag.)( payable in 3 installments).

1st payment €800 (booking deposit with application form)

2nd payment €900 on registration at first class

3rd payment €800 on or before TBC 2008

START DATES
