An advanced make-up course that will equip you with the advanced skills and knowledge to create stunning looks for fashion, catwalk and photographic make-up. This programme is designed for serious make-up artists who want to pursue the many glamorous opportunities of working with leading models, celebrities, fashion house, photographers and cosmetics brands.

It is designed to equip you a diverse set set of skills specific to industry demands and will include make-up for a variety of looks tailored for fashion and trends throughout the eras and modern day Hollywood glamour. You will also be introduced to the use of mood boards - colour theories and the process of design, and will learn advanced techniques for perfecting foundations and smokey eye looks.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Irish academy module 2 professional make-up artist or equivalent e.g ITEC or CIBTEC or other recognised qualification. There are no specific academic requirements however applicants would need very good literacy skills and a good command of the English language applicants must also be 16 years of age or over by course start date. Daytime: 5 days

Start Date: Wednesday 14th April 2010

Course Dates: Wednesdays 14th April +28th, 12th+ 26th May, 9th June

Time: 10.00am to 4.30pm

Location: Waverley Business Park, Old Naas Road, Dublin 12.

 

COURSE FEES

Course fees: €700. Payable in 2 installments

€350 deposit payable with application form (€50 discount for past/present academy students)

Second payment €350 on registration at first class.
