Presentation of FETAC accreditationThe Irish Academy Of Beauty reached another milestone on Thursday the 18th of June in the Gresham hotel Dublin as we recived our FETAC accreditation.
It was a very proud and prestigious occasion as the award was presented by minister for lifelong learning Mr Sean Haughey. The awards were followed by refreshments and networking in what was an extremley well organised day by the FETAC staff. Acredit to all I must say I was accompanied by my fellow director at the Academy (and fiance) Veronica Clinton, and my sister Breda Deegan ( accounts and customer service) The awards elevates us to one of the most credable trainers in our industry as it validates our educational systems and procedures. It also is formal acceptance into department of education framework and will enable us to tailor nationally accredited awards for our industry. The first award we will be offering via the FETAC system will be the Train The Trainer award at level six. This programme is designed for persons starting a career training and will equip them with the skills and knowledge to deliver information and make first class presentations. The awards ceremony kicked off what will be an exciting couple of weeks at the Academy as we launch Irelands first make-up, 'Look Good Feel Good', on Friday 26th of June and host our end of year graduation on Saturday 27th of june. Never a dull moment Talk soon Regards Derek |
